Dental Center Student and Patient Information
The University of New Haven Dental Center utilizes current advancements in dental hygiene treatment and infection control.
Our facility houses a 19 chair preventive dental clinic, 3 private radiology rooms, and a dental materials laboratory, as well as a professional instrument transfer and central sterilization area. A hybrid paper and digital charting system ensures our students are familiar with both systems before they graduate. Digital radiographs are utilized in our radiology rooms to ensure the highest level of patient comfort and safety possible.
Also housed in the dental center are the dental hygiene program’s administrative offices, a conference room, and one of the University’s ‘Smart’ lecture rooms.

***service performed as neededReceiving treatment at the University of New Haven Dental Center is not like receiving treatment in a private practice. Because this is a learning institution, our appointments tend to be longer than the normal 45 minutes you might experience at a regular dentist’s office. One full treatment may consist of multiple appointments.
Clinic days run Tuesdays and Thursdays and appointments times are available for:
- Mornings: 8:30am until11:30am
- Afternoons: 1:15pm until 3:30pm
We understand that our appointments are long but this extra time is vital to the learning process. Each student must have all the data they collect, as well as the treatments they provide, checked by a faculty member to ensure that you receive the highest level of care.

- Senior (62 and over)-$20
